The Story Behind Farhan Jamil
From a student who discovered his potential late to an educator, communication strategist and business leader building learning experiences in Saudi Arabia.
Who is Farhan Jamil
Farhan Jamil is an educator, communication strategist, trainer, speaker and business leader whose professional journey spans nearly two decades.
His career began in education in 2007 and evolved through teaching, banking, professional training, large-scale educational networks, events, media, public speaking and business development.
Today, based in Saudi Arabia, he leads Fluency, developing learning and professional development initiatives across English language, IELTS, TOEFL, communication, public speaking and corporate training.
It Started With a Turning Point
I was born and raised in SKP and later moved to Lahore for education.
In my early academic years, I wasn’t particularly focused on academics. I was more interested in sports, extracurricular activities and experiences outside the classroom.
Then something changed.
During my intermediate years, education suddenly became important to me. I became more focused, worked harder and discovered a level of potential I hadn’t recognised before.
That transformation led me to secure the first position in my college and receive recognition at the PC Hotel, where I was presented with an award by Education Minister Imran Masood.
That moment became the beginning of something much bigger.
In 2007, I began my professional career as a teacher.
I didn’t know then that my first classroom would eventually lead to a career spanning education, communication, training, media and leadership.
From Teacher to Trainer
Teaching became the foundation of my professional life, but my journey didn’t remain limited to the classroom.
In 2013, I entered the banking sector, gaining experience in a completely different professional environment and developing a broader understanding of organisations, customers and business.
In 2015, I returned to education and joined the Punjab Group of Colleges, becoming part of one of Asia’s largest educational networks.
Around 2017, my work began expanding from teaching into professional training.
I started working across English, IELTS, TOEFL, communication, public speaking, soft skills and professional development.
At the same time, I also stepped into event organisation, becoming one of the organisers of PGC Motor Shows in Lahore in 2017 and 2018.
These experiences taught me something that has remained central to my career:
Education isn’t only about what happens inside a classroom.
It is also about communication, confidence, people, experiences and creating opportunities.
From Classrooms to Conversations, Stages & Screens
Over the following years, my work expanded beyond traditional teaching.
I trained learners through both physical and online environments, worked with international learners, delivered professional development programs and became increasingly involved in speaking engagements, events, interviews and media.
I’ve had the opportunity to speak at universities, organisations, companies and professional events and to appear across Pakistani media platforms.
I’ve also had conversations with professionals, academics, entrepreneurs and influential personalities from different fields and different parts of the world, including individuals connected with institutions such as Harvard University, Oxford University and Stanford University.
For me, every conversation has been another form of education.
Every stage has been another classroom.
And every person I’ve met has added another perspective to the journey.
A New Chapter in Saudi Arabia
In 2023, my professional journey took me to Saudi Arabia, where I joined the Saudi British Centre as Business Development Manager.
It was a new country, a new environment and a new professional challenge.
My experience in education and training began to merge with business development, strategic partnerships, organisational growth and leadership.
The journey that had started with teaching was now becoming about something broader:
building.
Building relationships.
Building programs.
Building teams.
Building opportunities.
And creating learning solutions that could serve not only individual learners, but also organisations and institutions.
Today
Today, I lead Fluency, where I bring together nearly two decades of experience across education, training, communication, business development and leadership.
My work focuses on helping people and organisations develop the skills they need to communicate, learn and perform with confidence.

What I Believe
I believe education should do more than transfer knowledge.
It should create confidence.
Confidence creates communication.
Communication creates opportunity.
And opportunity creates growth.
Throughout my career, I’ve seen how the right teacher, the right conversation, the right training or simply the right opportunity can change the direction of someone’s life.
That is why I continue to learn, teach, speak, build and create.
Because I don’t believe education ends when the class ends.
It begins when people start using what they’ve learned to change what comes next.
